REGISTRATION
Jyväskylä Congresses, the official congress office of the NACS
28th Conference and Annual Meeting, will be responsible for handling
registrations and hotel reservations.
To register, participants should fill in the online-registration form, which is
available in April at: www.seksologinenseura.net
- Registration and Accommodation Reservations Form. All reservations (including social
program and hotel) should be made on the same form together with the registration. Each
delegate must use a separate form.

Fees include scientific program, two lunches, four coffee breaks, a banquet dinner,

Make a note that accommodation has to be booked via online-registration form, not

Get together party: It is organized on Thursday evening following the
pre-conference session.
Jyväskylä City Reception: After a short sightseeing tour in Jyväskylä city
on Friday evening Jyväskylä city reception is organized at the famous architect
Alvar Aalto's museum. Reception is open for all attendees of the conference.
Savutuvan apaja Social Excursion: After the City reception on Friday evening the
social excursion to Savutuvan apaja will be provided with bus transportation. This

Banquet: Organized in Laajavuori restaurant on Saturday evening. The dinner is
included to the registration package. Dance and entertainment will be provided.

Approaches: Scientific, experiential & spontaneous, virtual
Experiential & spontaneity will be approached with psychodrama. Virtual online
courses in Sexual Health Education will be demonstrated.

Invited Key Note Speaker: Dr. David Schnarch from United States.
David Schnarch is the
Head of Marriage and Family Health Center in Ever Green and a licensed clinical
psychologist and the author of numerous books and articles on intimacy, sexuality, and
relationships.
He offers the most unifying model of sexuality, intimacy, psychological development and
systemic interaction. His clinical abilities attract clients and students from across the
globe, building his reputation as a critical thinker, daring innovator, and gifted
teacher.
He is an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist and Certified Sex Therapy Supervisor, and a
Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
Plenary: Using sex, and sexual pleasure, as a vehicle for personal development.
David Schnarch will give also a workshop: The politics of a couple changing its sexual
repertoire.

CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS AND ABSTRACTS
The participants of the meeting are encouraged to give their presentation. Titles of
the presentations and abstracts should be sent to the Program Chair Osmo Kontula.
Abstracts of oral presentations and posters should be written in English, max.
300 words. They should start with the title following by the name of the author(s),
contact information and the abstract text.
Posters: All attendees are encouraged to present posters at the meeting.
Participants may submit a maximum of two poster presentations.
Audiovisual: A media projector with a PC laptop (for Powerpoint) will be
provided.
Please email requests for other audiovisual equipment by August 15 to Osmo Kontula
(Osmo.Kontula@vaestoliitto.fi) so that the feasibility can be checked out well ahead of
time.

TRANSPORTATION
By Air
There are numerous flights to Helsinki from the Nordic cities. Jyväskylä can be
reached via
Helsinki airport several times a day; in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the
evening. The flight from Helsinki to Jyväskylä takes 40-50 minutes and costs with taxes
around 130 euros. From Jyväskylä airport there is, after a request, airbus
transportation to the meeting hotel, Rantasipi Laajavuori.
By Train
You can travel also by train from Helsinki and Turku (Åbo) to Jyväskylä. It runs
around three and half hours and costs almost 50 euros (one way). |
